I am a 20 year retired U.S. Coast Guard Veteran as well as a Licensed master HVAC/R Contractor in the state of Maryland and Tennessee. I have an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts from Saint Leo College and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Career and Technology Education from Wilmington University, I have a Master’s Degree in School Leadership from Wilmington University. I hold a valid Maryland State Educators Certificate. I am certified to teach Trades and Industry and special Ed. I also have a Maryland Educator Administration I certification.
Students enrolled in the HVAC/R program will earn college credit if they maintain a grade of 85% or higher. Students also have the opportunity to receive a National Construction Center for Education Research (NCCER) certification in Core construction and HVAC Level I. They will receive their Occupational and Health Administration (OSHA) 10 certification card. Students who pass all sections of the Environmental Protection Agency 608 Technician certification will become universal technicians. All students will be issued a Maryland HVAC Apprentice license.
